Gan chargers from US brands and US-based sellers

6 US brands and sellers surfaced here at $8.99 to $149.99, each verified from Amazon's own published seller info. Last verified August 16, 2026.

A real GaN charger crams the transistors tighter and manages heat with better internal components, which is why it costs more than a slab of plastic with an inflated wattage number printed on it. The throwaway versions skip the safety silicon that prevents overcharging and thin out the metal in the prongs to hit a rock-bottom price.

What to look for in a good gan charger

  • Wattage math per port. A cheap multiport charger advertises one big total wattage number but won't say how it splits across ports, so charging two devices at once quietly starves both.
  • Prong construction. Real chargers use solid folding prongs that click firmly into the housing, while knockoffs use thin stamped metal that wiggles and can snap off in a bag.
  • Weight and density. A genuine GaN charger feels dense for its size because of the ceramic capacitors packed inside, so one that feels hollow and rattles is likely running a cheap linear transformer instead.
  • Price floor is real. Verified US sellers in this category run about $9 to $95, so anything priced under that floor is cutting a corner you can't see until the charger overheats.
