Sleeve bearings from US brands and US-based sellers

7 US brands and sellers surfaced here at $4.91 to $49.95, each verified from Amazon's own published seller info. Last verified October 8, 2026.

A sleeve bearing lives or dies on the metal and the tolerance of the bore, not the packaging. The cheap version swaps sintered bronze for raw plastic or a thin brass shim and calls it the same part.

What to look for in a good sleeve bearing

  • Check the material. Oil-impregnated sintered bronze holds lubricant inside the metal itself, so it keeps lubricating as it wears; a solid nylon or acetal sleeve just runs dry once the factory coating rubs off.
  • Bore tolerance matters. A quality sleeve bearing holds its inner diameter to within a thousandth of an inch or so; a loose or oversized bore lets the shaft wobble and chews through the bearing fast.
  • Look at wall thickness. Consistent wall thickness around the whole sleeve means even load distribution; a cheap one often has a thin spot where it was stamped or rolled, and that spot fails first.
  • Price tells you something. US-based sellers in this category run about $5 to $50 depending on size and material; anything priced well under that floor is usually cutting the bronze content or skipping the oil impregnation step entirely.
