Fan motors from US brands and US-based sellers

7 US brands and sellers surfaced here at $29.99 to $213.37, each verified from Amazon's own published seller info. Last verified October 6, 2026.

A fan motor lives or dies by its windings, bearings, and whether the capacitor actually matches the load. The cheap version swaps copper for thinner aluminum wire and skips the bearing seals, so it runs hotter and seizes sooner, which is part of why those listings can undercut the $30 floor you'll see from real sellers.

What to look for in a good fan motor

  • Bearing type. Sealed ball bearings run quieter and outlast open sleeve bearings, which dry out and start grinding within a season or two of daily use.
  • Winding material. Solid copper windings handle sustained heat and higher amp draw better than the aluminum or copper-clad aluminum wire used to shave cost in knockoffs.
  • Capacitor match. The microfarad and voltage rating on the capacitor has to match the motor's nameplate exactly, a mismatched cap is the single fastest way to burn out a replacement motor.
  • Shaft and rotation. Check shaft diameter, shaft length, and rotation direction (CW or CCW as viewed from the shaft end) against your old motor, since a cheap listing that's vague on these specs usually means it won't physically bolt in.
