What to look for in a good trading card booster
- Seal and wrapper. Check for a crimped, machine-sealed edge with no glue residue or wrinkles, since a resealed pack usually means someone already pulled the good cards.
- Printed pack details. A legitimate pack lists the card count and set name right on the wrapper, not just generic text like 'trading cards' with no publisher mark.
- Card stock feel. Real cards have a stiff, uniform stock with sharp border printing, while bootleg fillers are often thinner and slightly off in color saturation.
- Price floor. US-based sellers on this list run about $4 to $100 for a pack, so anything priced well under that is almost always a stripped-down substitute, not a deal.
